The name of the person who was charged has not been released by the Marquette County Prosecutor's Office due to their age, according WNMU-FM in Marquette, Mich.
According to BuzzFeed, the girl being charged allegedly used her own social media account and those of her friends to make it seem as though she had died by suicide just before Tysen's death.

"She did nothing to contact me or the authorities". I feel like, yeah, they're young and all that, but I feel like when you're 13, you're completely knowledgeable of your choices and you know right from wrong. Now a prosecutor is pursuing criminal charges against a juvenile accused of being involved in the scheme, which Katrina Goss described as a twisted, sick joke.. I do feel like she took advantage of a younger boy to control and manipulate him. In a statement released to FOX UP, Tysen's mom, Katrina Goss, said that he chose to end his life on March 14th. He was transported to Upper Peninsula Health Systems, and later the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.
On the page, Tysen's mother Katrina Goss called her late son an "athlete, comedian, friend, brother, charismatic and all around incredible child".
"Social media harassment, bullying and pranking is a huge issue", she added.
Several people have committed suicide while using Facebook Live, the social media companies live-streaming function, and other similar platforms.
