Mourinho accepts Europa final's make-or-break billing

Carrick moved to Manchester United in 2006 from Tottenham Hotspur, and has had a glittering career at Old Trafford, winning five Premier League titles, one Champions League, last seasons FA Cup and two League Cups, including winning it this year.

"Last year we scored three goals away against Atletico to go through and their defence is very strong and this year we won 2-1 at the Bernabeu and they are almost in the Champions League final".

In March, Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli had the length of his suspension increased to three European club matches for his reckless tackle on Gent's Brecht Dejaegere in the Europa League.

"I am not upset because we had to make that decision", he said about missing out on the top four.

Asked if United would be fighting for Ibrahimovic, Herrera told BT Sport: "And for Marcos Rojo as well".

"I can not go to Manchester City or Arsenal and put out five kids at the same time altogether".

"But if I was on your side and you are always looking for this kind of capital-letters big headlines, I accept if you say that". It is impossible. We never had one occasion to rest, not even to train properly, so it was not a choice.

The Spanish global has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid again this summer, and it appears as though Jose Mourinho is ready to rotate his squad in the final game of the season against Crystal Palace. I can not lose 5-0 or 6-0. I have to give some minutes to everyone because we have only 15 players, we don't have more, so I have to play them.

"But if everything goes normal and we have no problems, Sergio plays the final".

"We, Manchester United, for us it is more important to win titles than to finish top four".

"They are so friends and they support each other all the time".

Mourinho has in mind the line-up he would like to select on May 24 in Stockholm and will continue to rotate in the final two Premier League matches, having seen positives in defeat at Spurs.
