PlayStation 3 is now the only surviving game console of the seventh generation.

Sony has ceased manufacturing of the PS3 in Japan, the company today confirmed. For PlayStation 3 players, they can enjoy "Blood Knights" and "Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants", while "Laser Disco Defenders" has been released for PS Vita players that is also offered as a cross buy with PlayStation 4, while "Type: Rider" can also be downloaded for free PS Vita and as a cross buy option on PS4.

The "Tales from the Borderlands" sci-fi video game is available for PS4. With Playstation 3 production ending in Japan, and with the other regions sure to follow in the near future, they'll soon become a hot commodity.
