Assassin's Creed Origins Release Date Leaked Through Game Informer

According to posts on Reddit and Imgur, an upcoming issue of Game Informer confirms the rumor that the title is Assassin's Creed: Origins, and it takes place in Egypt.

The demo showcased just a single area, known as Siwa - Bayek's hometown - but judging from the sizzle reel either side of it, Assassin's Creed Origins could be Ubisoft's biggest and most expansive open world yet.

ALL-NEW COMBAT - Experience new combat mechanics and use powerful weapons to take down epic enemies.

Assassin's Creed Origins is being developed by the team behind Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.

THE MYSTERIES OF ANCIENT EGYPT - Discover lost tombs, the Great Pyramids, mummies, and the gods. You play as Bayek, the last of the Medjay, an elite group of Egyptian soldiers.

Each Quest is a Memorable Adventure - Pick and tackle quests at your own pace: each of them tells an intense and emotional story full of colorful characters and meaningful objectives. The Gold Edition, which contains the Deluxe Pack and a Season Pass, comes in at $99.99 United States dollars. Assassin's Creed Origins will release for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 on October 27th.

The game's standard edition will be priced at $59.99 United States dollars, while a Deluxe Pack is priced at $69.99 USD. Ubisoft will offer four different packages: Original, Deluxe, Gold Digital and Gold Steelbook. The Gold Edition will include all digital content of the Deluxe Edition in addition to the Season Pass, which will give players the ability to access all future major expansions and two new sets of equipment.

There is a chance that players may have to do something related to pyramids as well, as the pre-order card noted that there will be a bonus mission known as "Secrets of the First Pyramids".
