Supreme Court strikes down New York gun law

In its biggest guns case in a dozen years, the Supreme Court expanded access to firearms, ruling that Americans have a right to carry handguns in public for self-defense, a ruling likely to lead to more people legally armed in cities and beyond. (June 23)
